From LT: We wanted to set the scene for the last “proper” song on the album, “Traumatised,” by having a short concept piece, similar to pre-titles sequence on a movie or TV show. Stevo (drums) came up with the concept and wrote the script: A guy coming home and finding his pregnant partner on the floor, bleeding and very much in distress, so he calls her an ambulance. We did that scene but ended up cutting the ambulance ride to the hospital scene because we just couldn’t work out a convincing way to do it. Eventually in the hospital, the girl starts convulsing as one of the medical staff sees something moving around under the skin of her chest, when suddenly with an horrific scream, something bursts out of her and she dies. The theatre falls silent as this… thing begins to cry like a baby but then turns into some terrifying otherworldly screech.

This re-recording had the dialogue entirely re-written, with the extra scenes we'd intended to put into the original but didn't have the actors or technology available to do it justice at the time.
