From LT: It felt really weird ending the album with “Traumatised” since this song was such a different vibe to everything else on the album. It’s as if you’d eaten a meal and then gotten a strange, unexpected after-taste when you were done. Since we already had an intro to the album, it made sense to revisit some of the ideas from the title track and really bring the album full circle.

In actual fact, aside from the main gist of the piece being based on the chorus of “A Rise to Power,” there were also a lot of elements from the chorus of “Netherlife” and both the intro and melody before the sing-along part of “Insanity’s Fall” in there as well, really adding a lot of interesting counterpoint ideas to the familiar main melody.
